Marcus Brigstocke is regarded as a major comedy, writing, and acting talent, performing stand up to sell-out audiences on tour nationally. His last tour show, Devil May Care, which was filmed at Wilton’s Hall is now available to watch on Amazon Prime. BBC Radio 4 has become somewhat of a second home to Marcus with regular appearances on I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, The Now Show and Just a Minute; he has written and recorded three series and four specials of his hit show Giles Wemmbley-Hogg Goes Off. Most recently, he co-starred alongside Kerry Godliman, in three series of The Wilsons Save The World. Marcus has notched up an impressive list of TV credits including Steph’s Packed Lunch (C4), Comedians Giving Lectures (DAVE), House of Games (BBC Two), The Graham Norton Show (BBC One), Famous and Fighting Crime (C4), team captain on Argumental (Dave), and host of The Late Edition and I’ve Never Seen Star Wars (BBC4). Other appearances include; Live at the Apollo (BBC One), Have I Got News for You (BBC One), Mock the Week (BBC Two), QI (BBC Two), Sorry I’ve Got No Head (BBC One), The Late Edition (BBC4), and the 11 O’Clock Show (Channel 4).

Laura Lexx oozes charm and charisma from every orifice, she can command an audience with the simplest of eyebrow raises. Natural and versatile, Laura has a quirky and unique spin on the world and is happy to take on any subject. Brilliant stage presence mixed with a cheeky charm, she is one of the best put downers of hecklers around! Laura’s credits include Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), BBC At The Edinburgh Festivals (BBC Two), Hypothetical (Dave), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), Susan Calman’s Fringe Benefits (BBC Scotland/BBC Four), 4 Extra Stands Up (BBC Radio 4 Extra), The Comedy Club (BBC Radio 4 Extra), Breaking The News (BBC Radio Scotland) and The Jason Manford Show (Absolute Radio). Laura has also been a guest on BBC Radio 4”s Evil Genius with Russell Kane‘s podcast as well as the RHLSTP with Richard Herring podcast and Sarah Millican’s Standard Issue podcast. Following critically-acclaimed runs of her shows Trying and Knee Jerk, Laura won Best Performer in the Comedian’s Choice Awards at the 2018 and 2019 Edinburgh Fringe. She was also named in the Top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe in 2018 and Trying transferred to the Soho Theatre in London in 2019. Laura won Best MC in the 2017 Comic’s Comic Awards and was nominated as Best Compere in the 2016, 2017 & 2018 Chortle Comedy Awards. She also reached the final of the Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2016 & 2018. Laura has gigged at comedy clubs and festivals all over the UK and around the world as well as providing tour support for John Bishop, Jason Manford, Tim Vine and Russell Kane. She has also written her first novel Klopp Actually: (Imaginary) Life with Football’s Most Sensible Heartthrob, and has had a comedy drama series optioned for television.

Eshaan Akbar

Eshaan has appeared on shows such as Live at the Apollo', 'Mock the Week', 'QI' (becoming the first person of Bangladeshi heritage to appear on these shows), 'The Now Show', 'Frankie Boyle’s New World Order', 'The Big Asian Stand Up Night', 'Sunday Morning Live', 'A Pie and a Pint', and many more. Eshaan can be seen starring as Principal Lakhani in season 4 of Netflix’s hit show, 'Sex Education'. Eshaan was the voice of Rishi Sunak, Sajid Javid, and Narendra Modi on 'Spitting Image'. He has hosted his own podcasts including ‘But Where Are You Really From?‘ on BBC Sounds, ‘Panic Room‘ on Audible, and the European award-winning business podcast ‘Nine Twenty Nine‘. He was the host of his own Saturday afternoon radio show on the BBC Asian Network, and 'Newsjack Unplugged' on Radio 4Xtra. He is a regular guest on the Have A Word podcast. In 2023, he toured the UK with his show, ‘The Pretender’, (“refreshingly funny hour that suggests a big talent in the making ****” The Times). He has performed three sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe – ‘Not for Prophet’ (2017), ‘Prophet Like it’s Hot’ (2018), and ‘Infidel-ity’ (2019) as well as sell out London transfers at the Soho Theatre. Eshaan supported Micky Flanagan on his recent tour, including 9 sold-out dates the O2 Arena, and has supported a plethora of comedians, including Akaash Singh, Sindhu Vee, Kae Kurd, Adam Rowe, Dan Nightingale, Hal Cruttenden and many others.
