Cookie Policy
TixEvery Cookie Policy Effective date: 24 February 2026 Version: 1.2
This Cookie Policy explains how TixEvery uses cookies and similar technologies on our Platform, including on event organiser pages and across the Platform as a whole.
What are cookies? Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, tags and SDKs) may also be used to provide functionality, remember preferences, personalise content and measure performance.
Do we use cookies? Yes. We use cookies and similar technologies to help the Platform work properly, keep it secure, improve performance, and provide a more personalised experience when you browse TixEvery and the event organisers we work with.
Our approach to privacy and third parties 3.1 No selling of personal data We do not sell your personal data.
3.2 No cookies for third-party advertising networks We do not install cookies for third-party advertising networks and we do not use cookies to sell, share, or trade your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
3.3 Platform-only use Cookies are used solely to support the TixEvery Platform and the event organisers using TixEvery. We use cookies to improve the Platform as a whole, help event organisers deliver a better customer experience through TixEvery, and to provide you with a more personalised experience when browsing and buying.
3.4 Essential third-party services Some cookies or similar technologies may still be set or used as part of essential services that make the Platform work (for example, payment processing, fraud prevention, security, uptime monitoring, or basic analytics). These providers act to support TixEvery’s Platform operations and are not permitted to use your data for their own independent advertising purposes through TixEvery.
How we use cookies to improve your experience 4.1 Personalised experience and recommendations We use cookies to help provide you with a more personalised experience on TixEvery. For example, when you return to an event organiser’s pages, we may recommend Events and Products that we think are most relevant to you based on how you have previously used the Platform. We do this to help you find the most relevant events more quickly and to save you time when searching or browsing.
4.2 Remembering preferences Cookies can help remember preferences such as session settings, cookie choices, and other user selections to improve usability.
4.3 Platform performance and reliability Cookies and similar technologies help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve page speed, reliability, navigation, and conversion flow (including checkout).
4.4 Security and fraud prevention Some cookies are necessary to protect the Platform, prevent fraudulent activity, and maintain checkout integrity.
Cookie categories we may use 5.1 Strictly necessary cookies Required to operate the Platform and keep it secure, including security controls, session management, fraud prevention and checkout integrity. These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function and are typically not optional.
5.2 Functional cookies Help remember your preferences and improve usability, for example remembering choices you have made or improving how pages display.
5.3 Analytics/performance cookies Help us understand how visitors use the Platform (such as which pages are visited and how users move through the site) so we can improve reliability, performance and user experience. Where consent is required for analytics cookies, we will request it.
5.4 Personalisation cookies Support personalised features and recommendations, such as showing you events and products that we believe may be most relevant to you when you return to an event organiser’s page or browse the Platform.
5.5 Marketing cookies We do not use third-party advertising network cookies for independent third-party marketing. If we ever introduce optional marketing measurement cookies, they will be used only to measure TixEvery’s own campaigns and only where permitted and where consent is required and provided. We will update this policy if we introduce such cookies.
Cookies on organiser pages and across the Platform Cookies may be used on individual event organiser pages as well as across the Platform as a whole. Cookies used on organiser pages are used to improve your experience within the TixEvery ecosystem (for example, remembering preferences and providing relevant recommendations within that organiser’s page).
Managing cookies 7.1 Cookie manager and consent Where required, we provide a cookie banner or cookie manager that allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
7.2 Browser controls You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies or blocking future cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect how the Platform functions and may prevent certain features from working properly (including login/session features and parts of checkout).
Updates We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or how we operate the Platform. The latest version will be posted on the Platform.
