Donations Policy

Organisers may use TixEvery to collect donations connected with an event, campaign, charity, venue, artist or third party.

Responsibility for fundraising claims

The organiser is responsible for ensuring donation descriptions, recipients, charitable claims, campaign details, fundraising permissions and use of funds are accurate, lawful and not misleading.

Fee treatment

Donations are excluded from TixEvery platform fee calculations unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Donations may still be subject to payment processing fees, Stripe fees, chargeback costs, refund costs or other transaction costs. The checkout or organiser materials should explain whether any permitted third-party costs are passed on or absorbed.

Refunds

Donations are usually voluntary contributions and may be non-refundable once processed, unless the organiser agrees, the donation was taken in error, the campaign was misrepresented or applicable law requires a refund.

Gift Aid and tax

TixEvery does not provide tax advice and does not guarantee Gift Aid or equivalent tax relief eligibility. Customers and organisers should obtain their own advice where needed.

Misrepresentation

Organisers must not falsely claim charitable status, misuse charity names, misstate how funds will be used or collect donations for unlawful purposes.
